Go from sign-up to your first answer in FireAI in about ten minutes — connect a source, ask a question in plain language, and read the why behind the number.

This walkthrough gets you to a useful answer fast. You connect one data source, ask a question in plain language, and let FireAI trace why a number moved. No modelling, no warehouse setup.

Before you start

You need a FireAI account and one data source you can connect — Tally, a database, or a spreadsheet works. Everything else is in-product.

1. Connect a data source

Pick the source closest to where your numbers already live. Each guide walks the full setup.

Start with an integration

TallySync vouchers, masters, and GST data via FireSync.DatabaseConnect PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, MS-SQL, or ClickHouse.

2. Ask your first question

Open Ask FireAI and type a question the way you'd ask a colleague — in any of 90 languages. FireAI charts the answer and cites the rows behind it.

"Why did gross margin drop last month?"
"Which distributors are below target this quarter?"
"Show sales by region, this year vs last."

Tip: Start broad, then drill in. Each answer is a starting point you can follow into a causal chain.

3. Read the why, not just the what

When a metric moves, open the Causal Chain view to see which linked drivers pushed it — across departments, not just within one report. That is the difference between a dashboard and a decision.
